The Ace Hardlight Experience

Interactive Microsite Design for a teaser website made for the villain character of Ratchet & Clank videogame, Ace Hardlight, for Sony PlayStation and Insomniac Games.

The Ace Hardlight Experience is a microsite for Ace Hardlight, the main enemy gladiator from the Ratchet Gladiator video game who is brash, arrogant and self-obsessed. Ace believes that he is the best gladiator in the universe and that he, therefore, deserves his own personal website. The site needed to have a fun and humorous approach, so working closely with Lightmaker's 3D design team we came up with a series of fan character animations for Ace to be activated within each section of the site. We barely had any assets to work with so I created almost every graphic element from scratch and the 3D team did an excellent work by animating the character to life.
